Went quite well through the first section. On 11 and 12 I was stopping and starting to check the compass lots but direction was off; on 13 I decided to just run like normal (briefly checking the compass a few times but not stopping) and it was much more accurate..! Controls 17-22 were quite tough with the young trees. Saw two moose at 18. On 22 I mixed up some knolls mid-leg but really I should have had a bigger picture (e.g. stay on the spur). Really enjoyed it :)
